Glossitis - Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Glossitis
Glossitis ia the inflammation of the tongue, which becomes red, swollen and sore, and may be smoother than usual or cracked. Causes of Glossitis include infection; injury by sharp teeth or dentures; excessive alcohol. tobacco, spicy food, hot food or hot drinks; and allergy to toothpaste, mouthwashes, food colouring and (rarely) dental filling or denture material.
