Granuloma Annulare - Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Granuloma Annulare
Granuloma Annulare is a benign skin condition of unknown cause, characterised by the appearance of yellowish lumps, usually on the feet, legs or hands, that spread to form rings up to 7 cm in diameter with normal skin in the centre. The lumps are not itchy or painful, and granuloma annulare is not associated with systemic disease, except that diabetes mellitus is more common in adults who have multiple granulomas. Granuloma Annulare usually disappears spontaneously over several months or years. Application of cortico steroid cream or ointment can hasten recovery.
