Heart Murmur- Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Heart Murmur
Heart Murmur is an unusual sound made by the blood as it moves through the heart valves or any defect in the strurcture of the heart. Murmurs are usually detected using a stethoscope, although some loud murmurs can be heard without any aid. Some soft heart murmurs are normal, especially in children and young adults, but louder murmurs usually indicate a serious disorder of the heart valves or muscle. The quality and timing (in relation to the normal heart sounds) of a murmur aid the diagnosis of its cause.
