Hemiplegia- Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Hemiplegia
Hemiplegia is the paralysis on one side of the body caused by damage to motor, nerve cells in the opposite side of the brain. weakness or partial paralysis affecting one side of the body is called hemiparesis. Treatment is that of the underlying cause as well as by phsiotherapy to prevent the affected muscles from wasting. The outlook depends on whether the cause can be corrected.
